Mr. Bones Manicure

In honor of Halloween and the infamous Los Angeles Haunted Hayride, this week I am sharing with you a spooky nail treat. The Los Angeles Hayride has been around for a couple of years now and is located in another Los Angeles Landmark Griffith Park. This haunted Halloween attraction draws people from all over Southern California looking for a fright! So to get your nails Lauren B. ready, Halloween edition, I have designed the perfect mani to scare all the ghosts and ghouls. Here are the fun and easy steps to get the Mr.Bones Manicure.

Step 1: Clean & shape nails then prime your nails by applying 1 coat of our Nail Perfecter Base Coat. Let dry.

Step 2: Apply 1 coat of Paparazzi on all nails, except your accent nail. Let dry.

Step 3: Use Hollywoodland to create the stripes and accent nail. You can simply free hand the stripes down the nail, which is what I did here. Or if you are more of a perfectionist you can use some scotch tape to guide you, this will ensure that the lines are perfectly straight.

Step 4: Choose one accent nail for the fun Halloween skeleton nail design! Paint this nail using Hollywoodland. Let dry

Step 5: You can use a toothpick, bobby pin, or a nail dotter, to help you get the details on the skeleton’s face. First, start with the eyes by just using a dotting tool (or end of bobby pin) and slowly make the eyes bigger until you have the perfect uniform eyeball shape. Next I used a toothpick and dipped it into Paparazzi to get just enough paint to apply the nose and the smile. I used more of the side of the toothpick than the actual tip of the toothpick for this part. Let it dry completely.

Step 6: Once all nails are dry apply my Gel like Topcoat or Dual/Base Topcoat to make sure your Halloween nails are really shiny, and last through your Halloween festivities.

Happy Halloween!

Xoxo, Lauren
